dash wont come off

dash wont come off
ion my 91 LS i took off everything of the dash. Its just ready to come out, but the handels by the steering wheel (turning,Winshild wipers,etc) bother it. I try to take it off but i cant. Is there any way I can get around not taking it off??

You missed a step.
Drop the steering column.
As in, unbolt and lower. I believe there are 4 bolts. I assume it is possible to remove the dash without unbolting, as I've read of some people doing it, but it's much easier to do it the <u>right</u> way. With the column unbolted it makes for simple reinstall later on too.
