My hatch has it's original shocks, 10 years old, and I'm on a set of intrax lowering spring. 2inch all the way around. The car has been lowered for probably 4 years and the shocks are just starting to go.
The ride is surprisingly well controled, but I don't think it'll hold a candle to the Omni Powers I'm putting in.

I have eibach sportlines on my 96 civic coupe. When I first put them on the car drove very nice. The ride was like stock but it handled better. However, one of my rear shocks have blown so it rides pretty ruff now.
im on stock shocks and sportlines on my 93 hatch. the ride is pretty comfortable, not stiff. a lot of people that ride in my car say it rides smooth for stock shocks and lowering springs
