Ok, so like your average ricer I decided to go and get me some nice white glow gauges. They come in and i decide it shouldnt take but 30 mins to install. Anyways a couple hours later I realize I need to cut part of the gauge faces because it covers the area that shows your CEL and low fuel, so I put it all back together and decide to finish the next day. I didnt remove the needles but i did have to move them a little in order to slide the faces on, but after I put it all back everything was working fine to and from work.

The next day I put the hacked up faces on and struggle a bit trying to figure out how to power the things. Finally after a good while i get them working and in place, but when I take a cruise around the block to test them I notice my speedo and tech arent working, but my gas/temp do. Now im pretty sure I didnt mess up the needles because i was much rougher on them the first time since i was learning but ntohing happened. My only guess would be I somehow fucked up the 2 little harnesses in the back connected to each gauge from plugging and unplugging them so much. Also I notice when i was testing to see if the faces had power my headlights turned on and on for no reason which made me think i blew a fuse possibly, but everything else seems to be working fine.

So now I have some really sweet looking gauges.......just they dont work....Id rather have my plain ones that do work......Any ideas on what to do/ what the problem might be?

Well tonight just keeps getting better and better. I got to do none of the fun things i had planned today and on my way home i get pulled over for the first time and get a ticket for 80 ona 65. I wouldnt have been so pissed if I had actually known I was going that fast but because of these gay *** gauges. I can barely pay my insurance as it is since im only 18 and its a coupe so its considered a sports car. Dammit I feel like **** now....this was supposed to be a cool weekend.....

Anybody atleast got any ideas how to fix this so I dont get another one. Maybe which fuse to check. Or maybe some advice on what to do about this ticket.....if you all will excuse me ima go cry my lonely lame *** self to sleep......

Also I noticed my fuel gauge isnt working like i thought it did, only my temp, if anything, i wanted atleast that to work.......this rules.
