That's the best part. I got rear ended and my trunk was fucked. So the insure company sent me a check for $1100. Then, I bought a CF trunk and hood for $960 shipped.

hows the carbon fiber trunk when you open it, is it too light for the struts in the trunk??

I disconnected the spring hinges, so there is nothing pulling it up. Even with the hinges still connected it wasn't too bad.

I can't say for sure. I can say the OEM hood was heavy as ****. Prelude hoods are extreamly heavy, and the CF one was much lighter.
