Default are vtec speedometer clusters different than non vtec speedometers?

my gas gauge in my 94 standard integra quit working. i found a 98 gsr speedometer fro sale locally. will it work in a non vtec car? i figure it will but maybe, maybe not. does anybody know? thanks jim.

thanks. i thought so. i ran into problems swapping speedos in my hatch awhile back. i dont want to go through that again.

yeah, works the same, just the tach redlines a lil higher
