posting here as well as prelude forum in case anybody knows anything about this...

anybody know what kinda compatibility these motors have? I have heard rumors of an h22 w/ a k20 head on it.... anybody know anymore about this? anybody know of any other interchangeability (like cranks and such, etc). Very interested in potential of a hybrid like this

 

I have heard about it being done. I have talked to the guy who is doing it. It is hush hush. There is a lot of work, custom camshafts (duh) and gears/pulleys. I don't know the details so don't ask. But I've seen a teaser dyno plot and it puts that fake endyn h22 dyno to shame.

It isn't that simple. The motor currently in works in from a Pro-Drag team. I'm sure they are spending thousands in R&D on it. Unless you are pig, stinking rich, you won't get it.

 

sounds like a pipe dream to me. anything's possible if your budget is big enough. but why?
