i just want to see some clean exaples of black bays cause im thinking of doing this myself.

That is a very clean engine bay.
Black is nice cause it goes with all colors. You can change the exterior color and not have to worry about it not matching.

 

i like how the letters are sanded off the valvecover ... its different and i like that

 

damn it. no matter how hard i try i can't get my bay to look that clean.

Thanks man. I liked the flat black, cause it hid everything nicely, but I'm happier with it painted the same color as the car. The flat black is cool cause you can paint over scratches and chips really easy if you pull the motor out.

No sanding only rattle can and alot of taping off and time

partial wire tuck and semi-gloss paint. i dont have a pic with new charge pipe and battery yet.

 

hmmm im thinking i want to do this instead of color matching it. i can touch it up if i scratch it, and if i ever decide to repaint the car it will match.
what do you guys think? the car is going to be imola red.
