195/50 195/55 or 205/50 15" HELP!
which would be best suited for daily driving with occasional spirited driving? i have a set of fat fives that has the ziex 512 in 205/50 and i have a set of rota group n that has toyos in 195/50 and then theres the ls meshes that i need to put on some tires. it feels like the 195 has a stiffer sidewall when taking turns but a little harsh on the bumps compared to my 205's.
is there a big difference if i jump to the 195/55 in performance or ride quality??? ie: weaker side wall compared to both the 195 & 205s. looking into the dunlop fm901, yoko es100 or some good ol' kumho 712s and ziex 512.

kinda off topic, but generally..wider tires=wider contact patch=more rubber on the ground.
if you have 2 sets of rims, what u can do is get 2 different set of tires. one that is harder that u can cruise around on, and a softer set of tires..like falken azenis and kumho ecsta mx's and such.
ride difference changed when you start getting into lower profile rims with harder side walls. and it also does change with tires. for example, the azenis are pretty damn loud, but you dont get them for ride quality. it grips you to the floor.
