Default 91 DX Question

I'm looking at a 91 dx hatch locally and have a few questions. I've looked mostly at 92 and newer civic's. anyway the questions have are these. is there anything specifically i should look for in the generation of civics? what gas mileage will i get with the 91 (i've read soo much different stuff i dont know what to believe) and how strong are those motors compared to the newer generations. like how many miles can i expect to get out of one. Plus what is a descent price on an ok kept 91 dx hatch.

thanks

If properly maintained, the humble D15B2 will last forever.

the d15b2 I had in my car finally blew out at 242,***miles. Now the last 9,000 or 8,000miles put on it was constant hard redline shifts! And the previous owners did not take care of it, just a bunch of fast and furious punks. So that engine will last a while!

I have an 89 HF with a D15B2 but it’s pretty reliable (1493 92hp@6000rpm 89tq). I would probably pay about MAX 2000 if it were in excellent condition with decent mileage (around 140K).
