Falken Azenis is what i'm running on right now. I love them, i don't drive my car very much though. These tires don't have the longest life, but as far as street legal grip you can't beat them for the price.
really? does it cost 50 bucks to get them mounted and balanced? well, I got some friends who work and car shops and dealerships, I think it would only cost me like 20 bucks to get it done here.

I think we really need more info for you to recommend a tire. Where do you live? Do you get snow? Does it rain alot? How do you drive? Do you want an all-season tire? There's alot of things to weigh, there isn't one "good tire" for everything.

once you answer those questions, then a lot of us can "recommend" something to your liking. I recently just bought a set of yokohama avs es100's 205/45/16 from tirerack.com I personally have no complaints about them. I think they came out to be around $350 shipped to my door...got them the next day after i ordered them! Great customer service!

But I'm sure autobacs (much like other tire places) have higher prices to compensate for the "free" install.
JLB is teh w1n f00!
If you're thinking of ES100's just get the sumitomos that I have. They're the exact same thing but cheaper
You can ask Hikaru for a review since he's driven on them

im on my second set ot es100s. Their pretty good, i havent tried sumitomo but i have tried kumhos 712s and the 712s were very disappointing to me. I also live in so cal, its been raining a lot for so cal recently but the tires grip is still there. Im very satisfied with this tire for the street.
i've been running azenis on my DD for a couple years. I get about a year out of a set which is good for the price. But they do suck in the rain.

Glad you seen it our way
BTW, i can also vouch for Dunlop FM901, I have them on my SSRs, these are def. better than the crappy stock Micheln XGT V4 on my stock GSRs. You might want to consider those if you can get them for a better price than the Yokohamas.

been hearing Azenis have terrible traction in rain noticed anything (im in cali its been raining lately so figured u would have got to test them out in the rain by now)

YOKOHAMA AVS ES100!
Has everything you probably need at a decent price.

I thought a tire in the size he's inquiring about was considered "high performance" only. I've always heard Its not a standard size that can be found anywhere, so its going to be pricey anyways.
