Default 5th Gen Accord Odometer Trouble

I need yall's opinion. When I am driving, my odometer when it turns over the last three numbers stops. Every hundred miles it does this. When it rolls over a thousand miles, it works fine. It will stop for about 3 days then just start working again when i get up to go to work one morning. Any idea what could be wrong? Maybe the odometer motor?? Its a 95 Accord LX by the way.

I haven't had this happen with an accord but with another car. The fix was to replace the speedometer/odometer. The gears get worn and quit functioning. It will probably get worse until it quits completely. Sorry that it is not good news. I would think a junk yard and one out of another accord would be the cheapest way to go. I guess this is why they are electronic now. At least on my 2001 Miata it is. The 97 accord is still the old gear driven type.

I have this problem every now and then but when it gets stuck I just hit the odometer with my fist. Reason why mine does is b/c there was mileage fraud on it before I bought the car.
