a friend of mine is selling me his greddy catback exhaust and supposley from the greddy website, it says its only made for the 96 accord EX but mine is an LX. does anyone know if this exhaust will fit my LX. Are the 96 EX and LX the same? TIA

 

Yes they are the same. The LX and the EX shouldn't matter

 

I always thought that the flanges on the cat were different between the two models. I may be wrong.

 

i believe it should work on your car...just get underneath and look at the flange from the cat to the B pipe....if its a 3 hole (rotor or triangle shaped) then itll fit

 

Some cars have different cat converter placements depending on models. I dont know if this is true with your car, but it's an easy fix, most companies just include a seperate pipe that you bolt up or take off to make up for the length. No problem.
