Default do i have to change my fuel pump? for a gsr swap in a crx???

well im trying to finish my gsr swap in my crx but it seems to lag when it gets to 4 grand and higher...my ecu is also throwing two codes: 7 and 41 could those codes be the reason why im not getting full power out of the motor??? it drives fine in the low rpm range. by the way the vtec is working. i converted my car to obd1...any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Yes ecu error codes could cause the motor to run crappy. Fix the codes and the motor should run much better.

the fuel pump isnt the issue here,
its the codes your throwing
7 is throttle position sensor
41 is 0xygen sensor heater circuit
did u wire up the 02 properly?
and get a multimeter to check the tps

you dont need to change ur fuel pump. I have 91 dx and it has a gsr swap , i've been running the stock fuel pump for about a year now. Not one single problem or codes.

A fuel pump would only be needed if you were running boost or a NOS system.
