Default Cut a groove in my flywheel after 2K miles, normal?

I have the ACT 4 puck clutch. During my rebuild, I had to take the tranny out so I looked at my flywheel. There is like almost 1mm groove in the surface.

Is this normal with this type of clutch? You have to engage it kinda high or it chatters like crazy and the car shakes.

clutches with pucks tend to eat up flywheels...so I'd say yes
