Default Your car's morning routine?

Most of us are working with older cars here...what is everybody elses routine in the morning before work/school etc... I come out, walk around the car once, check my coolant(I had a leak about 4 months ago...fixed since then but I still check it every morning lol)...hop in and let her run for 2 minutes before taking off anywhere...I'm in MD so we do have some very cold mornings up here.

I start it up and go.

Occasionally I'll feed it half a quart of oil.

Sometimes i check the coolant, because it leaks a littlebit. But usually i just take the engine warmer plug off, and start it.

Now i've got some engine tune up in progress. So i have to take a bus or borrow my dad's Volvo V70 to go school or some daily business.

I miss my honda very much, but good things will follow-> More powerful engine to drive around!

I go out greet it with a smile. Tell it if it doesn't start I'm going to be pissed (starter is going out, but motor swap is going in, no reason to rebuild starter) start it, go inside get dressed come back out now that she is up to proper operating temp. put stereo face on release e-brake, ease into 1st and roll.

Walk around the car to see if there are any new dents or dings..
Start it and rub my hands because its like 2 degrees here..
Then I turn on the radio and fart in the seat a couple times to get the (std) vinyl seats warmed up..Once the motor is warmed and I have heat I go..

walk out unarm with viper pager, inspect car, make sure my GSR hammers are on, lug nuts. open door sit down, press throttle pedal once to unstick tb butterfly(if not my TPS code comes on), take it out of gear and turn the steering back to straight as i always lock with it turned in. put heat on high place radio plate in. get back outside of car lean up against the car for 3-5 minutes look around at the woods and sky. get back in and drive to the main road.

the security stuff i should do if i'm in the subs or city, but i do it all the time. when im like in the middle of nowhere. cant be too sure. i could park my car in garage but my bike and turbo engine **** is cluttering it.

this seems like alot of time and work. but it actually takes less then a minute to do minus the stand outside til warmed part.

My morning routine right now:

1. Start the car
2. Turn on both front and rear defrosters
3. Get out of car before I am permanantly vibrating(Hasport mounts suck when its cold )
4. Brush off snow because it has been snowing almost once a week
5. Check fluids once a week
6. Go inside and wait for a few minutes
7. Come back out and leave

Good times......good times.

I walk out, open the garage door, turn her on and let her warm up for about 5 minutes or so until the temp gauge starts to read a change.

Get in, turn on kill switch, pray so it starts (helps most times), crank it, place face plate in-turn on radio, let it idle, sit and enjoy my vinyl seats Watch the retarded kid from across the street take out the trash, listen to some radio and rattles. 3-4 minutes later, drive off slow until it reaches normal op temp, then hammer it a couple times.

Walk up to it.... stare it at the headlights.. tell her " I LOVE YOU!" , get in Start it up.. starts right up , idle is at 2k when cold ,got back inside let her warm up...get in the car(idle is like 700 when warm) start driving although its warmed up i never get on it until i've driven at least for 1 minute already. My car isnt a looker so i dont care for new dings , but soon i will when i get it painted!!

Heh, I guess I forgot to mention a few steps after you guys mentioned em heh...

Walk out, turn off viper, think to myself I need a killswitch, and walk around check all 4 tires. Pop the hood, check my coolant, always fine, turn it on, turn headlights and front/rear defrosters on...step back outfront to make sure driver side headlight is on(DAMN loose wire...). Hop back in, put headunit faceplate on, wait another minute or two until temp gauge starts to move...take off slow staying below 2.5k until temp gauge is to normal point, put in clutch to check idle, if its below 1.1k I start driving normal...
