will a 92-96 automatic prelude tranny work in a 97-00 automatic prelude ?

Default will a 92-96 automatic prelude tranny work in a 97-00 automatic prelude ?

will it work ? my sisiter auto trans prelude took a dump and the jdm engine i have has an auto tranny on it but its a 92-96. will it work in hers ?

From what I know, all 92 and up prelude tranny can be interchangeable so I don't see why not.

pretty sure it will work as long as her car isn't one of those trip-tronic tranys or whatever they are called

yes its triptronic which sucks. i have the serial number its M6HA-3006076. does anyone know what other trans serials will work ? hey raylude do you still have your auto tranny ?

damn, well no i doubt it would work, without changing out the ECU and wiring because, i'm sure the triptronic tranys have some crazy wiring for the manual gear selecting and stuff. wish i could help you out more, but i do know those tranys go out often and they are very expensive to replace, assuming you can find one

well i tried out the 92-96 trans. it bolted right up to the block but the mounts were different. to get it to work i'd have to custom fab some transmounts. the trans code on my sisters is M6HA-3006076. anyone have a m6ha trans let me know thanks.
