As stated in the topic. Which rear strut bars fit without having to cut the rear plastic panels on a CRX? I know that the DC Sports one fits without having to cut the rear plastic...but it is a piece of junk because it flexes too much. What other bars fit without having to cut the plastic?

 

Dont bother getting one..They dont help our cars at all,,all they do is get in the way and look good..The cars are already stiff as **** so if you want to tighten everything up get a rollcage..

 

ARe all rear strut bars gonna be adjustable?

 

we added one to my buddys car not too long ago... we had to trim some of the plastic, but if you notch the cover as well it passed right through. I planned on using this same method with my CRX.

I don't know of a set that you wouldn't need to trim a bit.

BUT if you make your own mount for the bar i'm sure you could add an inch or so to make enough room....

 

I believe the Neuspeed one does not need any trimming. The mounts that go over the rear shocks are raised making the strut bar higher than the plastic trim.

Can someone with the Neuspeed bar please confirm this? The neuspeed website says otherwise.

 

HMM. I thought they didn't need any trimming from just looking at the design. But I'm guessing the trimming would be the most minimal compared to other designs since its more raised.
