I attended Lanwar 12 this last weekend in Louisville, KY. It's basically a gathering of computer gamers who for a local area network to play each other on. There were 550+ who attended to play Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament, Starcraft and a handful of other games. I was making conversation w/ a couple of the guys there and we started talking cars. It turned out that one of the guys I was talking to has a 2001 IT-R in FBP (#0798 or 978 is his #) I found out that he spends a lot of time on honda-acura.net I proceded to talk this board up and convinced him to join. I also tried to persuade him to attend the Expo and I think I was successful. If he makes his way to this board make him feel welcome

BTW, I participated in the Unreal Tournament deathmatch tournament. I used to play this game all the time, but haven't played a whole lot recently. Anyhow, I fought my way through the brackets and annihilated all of my opponents and made my way to the final match which is played on a 40 foot screen for everyone to see. This makes the third time I've made it to the finals and it also makes the 3rd time I came in 2nd place. Final score - euro 6 - toenail 17
Damnit! Oh well, I'm glad to be good enough to come in 2nd everytime I had a blast!

Sounds like fun. I missed the huge event that was out here (Washington DC) a few months ago, but maybe I'll hit it next year.

I'm organizing a small one for this Saturday, and am expecting about 16 people at a friend's house. We'll start by playing some CS, but then all the wussies will whine about getting capped left and right by me and my Colt, so we'll end up playing some UT for the rest of the night.
