Default koni yellows/GC adjustment question

Here is the setup FYI:
-neuspeed sp3's
-GC w/ Koni specific sleeve
-ES poly master kit

My question is in regards to adjusting the vehicle height. I previously had tokico blues for several yrs and throughout the time I had them adjusting the height of the front susp was as simple as raising the car, the spring would "come loose" and i could adjust the height up or down very easily.

With the recent Koni install I cant adjust the height without disassembling the spring shock combo as the spring doesnt have enough droop to allow the perch to be easily adjusted up. BTW Ive adjusted the c clip on the lowest and highest setting which hasnt made a REAL diff in vehicle height. Basically what Im asking is, is this common?? I dont plan to adjust ride height often only because Im lazy and get tired of aligning it after each adjustment. Any insight or help would be great. Sorry for the length. TIA

That was the first thing I tried and lowering the snap ring really didnt do anything other than lower the ride height. Thanks for the suggestion.

OK, I re-read your first post.

When you raise the car, have you tried using the front center lift point instead of one side? That way the front sway bar on the opposite end from where you are raising would not be holding the raised wheel up so tightly.

I actually used the lift at work so unfortunately that isnt an issue either. Ive beat myself up wondering why and searching for info. Originally I had the snap ring at the OEM height location and even after adjusting up/down with the snap ring and the perch, ride height didnt change much. So far the easiest way I have found to adjust them is to pull the coilover assembly out, dissassemble it, adjust the perch up and put it back together. I have one more option I plan to try and if it works then I will let you know. My post was more or less meant to see if others had the same issues. TIA

So would you say the shortness of the shocks are limiting the droop? Are they "topping" out?
