jdm power window kit?
how hard is it to do the power window kit conversion for a crx? I dunno anyone thats done it and I haven't found a kit that comes w/ directions.. My windows are off track so I figured while I was in there i'd just go ahead and do the conversion. thanks in advance.
website or pointers are extremely welcome

I have heard of people swapping out the power windows from the 4 door Civic into the CRX. That would probably be a little easier for you to get the parts for, since 4 doors litter junkyards all over the place.
Im gettin a big shipment (from someplace) on the 23rd.
Lost of goodies!!!
Backseat, tails, powa! mirrors, headlights, drivers seat, sir wing, powa! windows, sunroof deflector, exc.... I get them from the jdm gods, care of the frisco seaport. HAHAHAAH

Well if you ever get an entire Japanese model SiR front clip, I got first dibs.
Oh and to the original poster ricerEX, if you are going to get the JDM power window stuff, then this is the guy to get it from.

i have the JDM power windows and aside from wiring, they're easy. They bolt up perfect.
If you're unfamiliar with wiring this may be a little tough for you.
You just need a DPDT switch and then you wire it like so:
- up toggle (wire to window)
- up toggle (12v+)
- Ground
- down toggle (12v+)
- down toggle (to window)
and put a 15amp fuse on that 12v+

Here is a write-up on how I installed JDM power windows in my 89 hatchback.
Please keep in mind that I went about it in a rather difficult method (in order to have it as I think it should be). There are a lot of "short-cuts" that can be done. It's all up to you as to how **** you want to be.
