Default Is replacing radiator support a DIY job?

Has anyone ever replace their radiator support for their EG? Do I need special tool? Is there anything I need to look out for? is there any welding required?

drill out the factory welds. bolt up the new one then take it to a good weld shop and have them weld it.

You could do it yourself with a HD welder. But if your not sure about it then take it to a muffler shop and have it welded.

in other words, no. this isnt your basic DIY job since this is the frame, and affects the safety and structural integrity of the whole car in a crash.
