Default torque convertor fluid

I just finished my D15B vtec swap in my 91 crx dx. While bolting the torque convertor to the new engine a lot of fluid leaked out. I forgot to add more fluid to it before i put the tranny back in. My question is this: Will the hollow shaft allow fluid to re-enter the torque convertor? OR do i have to take the tranny off again and add it directly Thanks in advance
