Need help finding a 12v Power Source In EK
I'm wiring up my s2k engine start button and I need someone's help finding a good 12V power source that activates when I turn the key to the start position.
My mind is running a blank right now so any help would be appreciated... TIA!

DON'T use the radio power. Every time you push the button, your going to draw more current than the radio is fused for, thus blowing the fuse and you car won't start at all. Take off the drivers side under dash. If you follow the wires to the ignition column, find the thick black wire with a yellow trace. Thats your switched 12v wire. All your ignition wires are covered in plastic, just use something to cut the plastic away. You'll know its the switched power wire because it will be mixed in with the other ignition wires (yellow, white, black/white). Make sure you use a fuse on it just to be safe. I wouldn't use any other power source for an ignition related item....

if you splice into it directly than yes you'll suck a good amount of power and blow the fuse.
When you're doing the s2000 button conversion you should have a relay and a seperate fuse line.

Are you installing a aftermarket start button or an OEM S2000 Button?
