h+k hybrid?
Ok, I hear all the time how f-series, h-series, and k-series motors are all very similar to one another. What kind of interchangeability might an h22 have with a motor like a k20 or k24 (eg head, crank, etc... i havent looked at bore/stroke #s for k motors)? And would there be any benefit to mating the two? I know this is a little off the wall but I think it might be interesting to look into.
K-series isn't related to a h or f series motor. They don't spin the same sway, k has timing chain, h+f has timing belt, k is has a square bore/stroke ratio, h+f is undersquare .. . etc etc, nothing in common.

yea i heard about that too, also some other person posted a relevently same question, someone asked if they could put a k20 in a prelude, obviously youd say no but someone replied and said there is some car out there that has a h22 block with a k20 head or something, search that youl see what im talkin about. of course i dont think its true.

Interesting... But it does seem like some excessive modification for a 99mm stroke... I think 97mm is good enough... But I am considering a deck plate or custom short pistons for a future setup...
