wondering on setup's for high hp sohc turbo's

 

I was just looking at one and saying "damn" ..Perfect timing I guess

 

Gee, wonder what that thing sounds like with that bumper exit exhaust. Looks kinda nifty, would love to do that on a track car. Or is that the dump tube for the WG? Kinda lost now...

how much psi is that on ?
what motor is it ? i know it is a d-series motor
is that on pump gas ?
what kind of internal work is done ?

like i said that car is bad a$$ why not put it in an std or like an 84 crx ?

I said its turbodcx 's car ..Search for his username..He made so many threads with pics and info..The cx hatch is almost as light as our cars so why not put it in one..Plus with 500whp I doubt you would give a **** about 100lbs or so..

I've seen that thing in real life. He works at the shop I had my Hondata tuned at. Very cool guy.

Sleeved stock bore 1.6L D16y8
8:1 arias pistons
Crower rods
Stock unported head with 1mm bigger vales intake and exhaust.
Zex 59300 cam
T3 BLOWZILLA Turbo.
Skunk 2 intake manifold.

pushing about 480WHP

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit hahahahahaha... and as for turbo lag on that monster t3, how much WHP does your b-series have... oh right... he owns us all.

That thing is so awesome... it probably sounds like a beast. I couldn't find any 1/4 mile times if he even has any. Anyone see any?

 

That is one hell of a shiny valve cover, if mine looks anything like that when it is done I will be very satisfied.

 

that is buy far the best looking eg and the highest whp i have ever seen made with a sohc

 

It's an 11sec car(11.3 actually). He made 480 on pump gas I think if I remenber correctly and the 502 on race gas(c16?). He has something like an 8:5:1 compression if I remenber correctly too. I also think he sold the sohc monster. It's late and I'm not thinking 100%.

I'd hardly call a 200 lb-ft climb in 1100 RPM "flat"
