It's not idiocy, moron. Do you see anywhere in that thread that the seats were sold? WTF does the age of the thread have to do with it? Do you know how many items go unsold? People are ******* picky, and when it comes to these Recaros and other high $ items, people are going to try and lowball.

I indeed saw the date of the thread before I posted.. I saw nothing saying they were sold.. hence 'you might wanna try this cat'.

If you wanna buy the full yellow ITR interior i suggest you buy a ticket to a japan or at least somewhere close by and buy them there...ALOT cheaper. You had better prepare yourself to get reamed if you buy them stateside.

thank you for this tip... coincidentally my mothers company is international and now has branches in japan...does anyone know where i could have somone find it over there and the difference in cost....im sure shipping will be atleast 4-500$

If your mothers business has a branch in a big city in japan (ie osaka, tokyo, nagoya etc) i suggest you get an associate of hers (preferably japanese) to check out used car sales / exporters or "jdm junkyards" on the outskirts of town...you have to haggle with them a little bit but its a guaranteed good deal cause its not worth as much in japan as it is stateside; so they let it go cheap if its not exported; but i havent seen yellow interior very often so to me it seems a lil rare / expensive for my taste. This applies just to the buying the seats, not shipping them. Shove the seats in a big *** box and ship it airmail (not sure of cost: weight x distance) shouldnt be cheap but you'll save money ($3100?! :cough: ripoff :cough.

rare indeed, I've only seen those seats ( yellow fronts and rear with yellow stitching ) and the shift boot ( with yellow stitching ) on ebay like.....maybe 3 times in the past 4 years. Though someone said $3100, I believe that was someone on ebay selling the whole set. Too expensive in my opinion....

definitely I checked ebay for those items too...no luck. He might have a long wait ahead of him just to even locate someone that has em considering how rare the yellow recaro interior is.....
