Just got a 2005 RSX Type-S and I need help
Hi all, im new to this forum.
I just got the car about three days ago (leased, doh!). Anyways, im trying to keep it below 4000 RPM, is that good? Is it bad for the engine if i go a little above?
Ok, well, so im driving down this road today going about 30 MPH (25 speed limit) and I had the scare of my life. There was this stop sign but i didnt see it so I kept driving while suddenly an SUV comes out and i had to brake pretty hard and I swerved to the right barely missing it (thank God). Im pretty OCD so I kinda got worried afterwards thinking that it was hard on the brakes. But I must admit, the handling is amazing!
Can you guys help my out with anything. Anything in particular. Thanks guys.

Sure, I can help you out. Your car came with (or should have) an owner's manual. It pretty much answers any questions you could come up with regarding the break-in, operation, and maintanence of your new car. Read it some time.
Besides, why would you trust advice from someone on the internet that you know nothing about and who may know nothing at all about cars?

if it's a decision between avoiding a crash and proper break in of the pads, AVOID THE CRASH. duh. worst thing that could happen is you don't bed the pads correctly and u swap em out later for some new ones.
