question......
My 88 crx si is having a problem starting up. It just started up two days ago. Now when i turn the key it cranks but won't start. The first time i tried and it putted for a minute so i figured it was low on gas. I put more gas in and it did the same thing so i turned it off and tried again. Now all it does is turns over but won't start at all...

A good article on trouble-shooting a "No-start" situation:

how much gas did you add?
it could be a great many things, all of which are covered in the helms manual, which you can find here:

theres all kinds of troubleshooting, and how to fix anything on your car.
i dont mean to be all general, but theres no way to troubleshoot a car your not in front of really.
the basics of starting are fuel and spark. you need both. check to see if the fuel pump primes when you turn the key to the on position.
pull a spark plug wire and make sure you have spark against the valve cover.
much deeper then the very basics really should go to a professional mechanic.
good luck anyways.

I don't have my gauge cluster in right now because i am puttin indiglo gauges in at this time... I can hear the fuel pump turn on also. I think the problem is my spark plugs though.. i rechecked them and i noticed i have a lot oil in thier which i haven't seen as bad as this is.. so i think i might drain my oil and put new stuff in. Right now i am cleaning my spark plugs, hopefully it works.
