Default AC mount required for DOHC swap if no AC is to used?

I have a B16 that's going into my Z6 equipped Sol very soon. I feel like I have a good grasp on it all but until recently I was certain that the AC mount was only around to hold the AC compressor. Being that I have a Sol and AC makes me car sick anyways, I want to do away with it. There is no reason to have an AC mount, correct?

The mount itself is a torque mount and should not be removed completely. If you don't want to use the AC then it doesn't matter what mount you put in there (P72, P30, P54, P73). They will all serve thier purpose the same.

wrong. you do need it. as stated already its a torque mount. just unbolt the AC compressor and you're done.

yes, you DO need this mount as you notice there is one on the other side, and none on the front (like how the old single cams, or h22a's are)
