What kind of paint is best to paint the outside ring of my rims?

Right now my car's rims look like this

 

thats not paint. Those are polished lips.
Have fun polishing takes some elbow grease.

 

i was thinking that car looks familiar, its Nate's. haha

the wheel comes that way. i'm not sure how you would paint it unless it already came in that color and then you painted the middle black

 

my rim's midsection's already black. I just wanna paint the outside ring to silver... need some paint that can really stick to the metal.. it'll look tight.

 

again , i guess you didnt read and comprehend. It is NOT PAINT. The paint is stripped off and the metal is polished and clear coated.

If you paint the lip silver it will look retarded IMO

 

if you want a polished lip and your rims are black as of now, aircraft stripper will strip all the paint and you will have to proceed to paint just the inner part leaving a polished lip as the result. other than that, there's not much else you can do.

My buddy Eric once took a set of integra fatty 5 wheels painted them black, then put them on a wheel balancer and held sandpaper to the lip until the paint came off. Then he fine sanded the whole wheel down and clearcoated them. looked kinda badass for a cheap job.

But yea, thats not paint dood. It's the actual metal.

 

ya it is already polished from ROTA...but u can do it tho..good luck.search for "polishing wheel"..btw: i dont like that AEM sticker on the lip
