It had the deadbolt system that I made for it 4 or 5 years ago. You might have seen the thread here. My JC Whitney actuators are very cold sensitive and won't work below 30 degress or so. Its below 30 today and I wasn't able to deadbolt the car when I got back from lunch. Bitch of it is, I just pulled some new actuators out of a wrecked Saab last month and was just waiting for a warm day to install them.

The car looks like hell right now after 3 snowstorms in 1 week. No one would have targeted this car out of the blue for a joyride. Someone who knew what was in it and when and where to find is responsible. Coming up on 4 hours since it's been missing, it's assuredly in pieces somewhere in the Bronx right now.

yea, them yonkers dudes are grimmey, they stole my boy h22 hatch, found it yonkers, only took the system and 1 stage 2 axle, and 2 of them were inside, And even left the Radio.. I was like wtf.. But yo..Check b20vtec.com.. some yonkers dudes be in the street racing section..But why u said it had to be in the Bronx stripped?? anyways i mess with this Girl in Yonkers and her man drive some Red slow ef..So imma ask her do she know anything

Must be the same guys, cuz they left my radio, faceplate and all.

Anyway, this was a pretty "light strip" in my opinion despite the cops' characterization of the car being "junk". In fact, since I've still got the original d-series that came out out of the car, I brought it home with with an expectation of getting it back on the road in 2 or 3 weeks.

Since 2nd roud F1 qualifying is about to start, I'll just leave you with a few teaser pics of situation.

Hood had been removed to pull the motor. Radiator also missing, as are the stock corners.


Tailgate missing, but the glass is intact. Muffler gone, but the cat, resonator and z-pipe form my Apexi left in the car.

Former home of my B16a. JDM block and crank, CTR pistons. Del Sol head w/ CTR cams, ITR inners, Portflow outers, competition valve cut, wrapped Mugen header, Fidanza aluminum flywheel, ACT clutch and PP, '00 Si box,GSR axles.

Biggest problem is that they clipped the harness connectors in the engine compartment.

Cluster gone and steering column has taken some blows. Turn signal and adjuster are broken. Radio is there, so was the faceplate and trip. Whether it works or not....
