Default size tires.

my roommate bought a 15x61/2 rims. rota circuit 8's. what is the optimum size tire for him to get?

You can get 205/50-15. Lots of people here run that size.
I am using azenis in that size. Works great.

Or you can get 195/55-15.

if the car is slammed get 195/50 15

if the car has a finger worth of fender gap get the 205/50 15

my cars got 205/50 on them and i have 0 gap and i rub when taking really sharp turns and thats about it..

i have the same size rims on my car, rolling on 205/50 with no rubbing at all

205/50 is a good size. Shouldn't rub unless pretty low.
