carbon fiber lip all chipped up?
my urethane type r lip has all kinds of rock chips in the paint and is really noticeable sine the urethane is baby blue.. so now i have all these blue spots on a dark red lip
i was wondering if the same thing happens to cf lips.. do they get chipped easily? and if so is it just in the clear coat and is it noticeable??

i would think CF would chip just as easily as the urethane would, it just won't show up as much. that might be a route to go with since your lip will start chipping again a few months after you repaint it. daily driving is not kind to front lips!
