HI,

my friend recently purchased a 1997 prelude dohc vtec with 53k miles. We were wondering what type of oil you guys recommend. The guy at Autozone said that running synthetic is risky because it causes leaks. Personally, i havent had this problem with the cars i've seen, what do you guys think?

1. all 97+ preludes are dohc vtec
2. you need to title your post better

I reccomend "search" brand oil. There have been SO many threads on this.
