As some of you may know the hasport kit is out for your car.

I was looking today on their site and found the instructions that come with the kit.

I thought most of you would be interested to know what's in there.

I guess I'll participate. lol.
I've got an ep daily driver, and the torque is nice and it's pretty quick for a stock bloated mini-minivan. I couldnt imagine that in a rex, with some sort of boost, wow.
I may have to hold off on the B swap and see how this plays out.
jdm k20 ... hmmm... insane!

once the prices come down on those engines the allmotor scene is going to be insane. Already he put maybe $3500-$4000 in mods and brought up the wheel hp by nearly 100hp....
its just insane.
its just insane.

you can put it on top of the floor board or under for cleaner look.
basically you route the shifter cables through a hole in the firewall so they can reach the shifet inside the cabin. You can also make or buy a custom enclosure and route the cables under the car and make a hole on the floor for the shifter to stick out..

Is it going to sit in the ef chassis streetable? Im still just gonna continue to build my turbo nitrous LS motor for a fraction of price and still walk k20's....
They are lighter than a b-series motor and very streetable.Power delivery of the K is linear and smooth not rough and choppy.Iono about walking on k20's i have an rsx and basically stomped a turbo ls
and now i just bought a ef9 do do a k20a2 swap and turbo

I am interested in this. I guess as people start to do this some of the unknowns or how-tos will start t be documented... what about AC? Gotta have that where I live.. the shifter-box thing leaves me completely in the dark.. cables? holes in the firewall or floor board? custom box under the floorboard?
anyway something to watch to see how it goes...
The motor/trrans is lighter than a B motor/trans, right?

I will testify that there is good power in a K20A2...The type-s model...
When I worked for Acura we found out that the k20 is like smaller and more solid than any b-series, and the transmission being a 6-speed is also smaller and the whole combo engine and 6-spd tranny is @16-18 lbs lighter. then factor in that the magnesium cast tranny housing can be used from a TSX and you have some light weight power.

Here is how I see it, if your spending this much money on speed, you can do with out a/c. Why spend so much money on speed, then just keep things that are gonna slow you down
Those instructions should be intitled, 20 easy steps on making a monster.
