Idle Problems
Hey Guys,
I recently bought a '96 Accord LX 5SPD, now whenever the car is rolling and i shift the car out of gear and it still rolling, like coming to a stop and its in neutral it idles @ 1500 - 2000 rpms and as soon as the car comes to a complete stop it goes back to normal idle ~500 - 600.
Its a pain in stop and go traffic etc. so if anybodys got an idea please lemme know.
Thanks Guys

Does the idle bounce at all or does it only do it at those specified times?
Also are you throwing any check engine lights? Does this do it when it's being warmed up, on cold starts only etc etc?
A little more information would help
My guess would be:
Check air filter, plugs, wires then clean your IACV or intake air control valve (which opens or closes depending on car operating tempurature).

it doesnt bounch it may sort of slowly increase but doesnt usually go above 2000. It only does it while rolling and in neutral. I dont have any check engine lights, and it does it all the time not only cold etc.
