stock jdm header
what are the diferences between the USDM and JDM headers?
are the JDM type S headers the same as the JDM prelude VTEC header?
anyone that has switched to JDM headers? what are the gaines?

Depends on the model of the car... if you are taking about an H22A from a 4th Gen and putting in a 5th Gen, then yeah, the physical header is different.
If you are talking about the same modem year Prelude, JDM to USDM, then typically no. (Someone compared the 5th Gen versions over at preludeonline.com...)
On the Type-S I know that the intakes are different... but I'm fairly sure the exhaust headers are the same.

uhh dc sports suck *** and cost $400...
the jdm vtec headers are better than the usdm, expect about a 2-4 hp gain total from it....
the type s one is a bit better than the regular jdm one too, but good luck finding that.....
btw....i have a jdm 4th gen header for sale.....
