Default all people BEWARE of LANDSPEED RACING!!!!!!!!!! Rip offs!!!!

Just wanted to make sure people dont make the same mistake I have. I payed for a set of hybrid H22 Civic axles, and a boost gauge back in last May of 2004. To this date I have never recieved them nor, have they given me any proof they have been sent off! After dealing with them on and off they finally said they would refund me and give me store credit. They would not give my money back. So instead I asked for a set of steel braided brake lines and two sets of NGK wires. They "Claimed" to have sent them b4 Christmas. That was 3 months ago!! They have shown me no proof they sent these items off!!! These people are just jerking me around. After months and months of dealing with these people this is what I got. Now all of their numbers seemed to be disconnected!!! Dont get ripped off like me. Beware people!!! Stay away from this fraudulant business!!!!

I was in a similar situation that was brought up in earlier weeks. I bought a gsr trans with lsd, never recieved it. 930$... guy (v8killr83... thnks he's on here) took the money and ran along with another guy's $ that he had stolen with regards to the same transmission. I ended up haveing to reasearch this guys life story from CT while he's in ID. I finally found that he was in the air force so i called his superior officer, called my friend who is a police officer, contacted ID police. and wow, so much work, finally... the bast-rd sent me the transmission. Ofcourse, it has an extra 25 pounds of baked on oil, not the one pictuerd in the auction, and has no LSD nor any double syncros. I am not even sure if it works, ill find out in a couple of weeks . Just thought id let people know my story and the hel that this (v8killr) guy put me and 2 others through.

Count me as another victim of Landspeed Racing. About a year ago, I ordered a header from them for my B18C5 swap. They basically dragged their feet with the header until I threatened to dispute the charges on my card. So they then sent it. But it was not what I ordered. So I sent it back (I should have just tried to sell it on the street!). And they gave me in-store credit. I then decided to use the credit to get a set of Crane Cams for my B20. So I sent them $50 for the price difference (BIG mistake!) and hoped for the best. This was May, 2004. I called them several times, asking them where the cams are. And I always got the same response: on backorder. I always suspected that they are shady. But when I tried calling them about a month ago and all their numbers were disconnected, I knew I had been taken. All in all, they took me for about $450.

One word of warning: although their number is disconnected, their website is still up. DO NOT order ANYTHING from their website. And payment submitted can surely be considered to be a donation to these crooks.

All in all, It is not worth saving that small percentage by purchasing from shady people either across country of over ebay. I would suggest ordering from a more reliable source, jegs... summit...even Honda. Maybe cheap parts can be purchased through shady characters because their is less to be lost in the transaction. I buy shitty intakes, intercooler piping, and small stuff like that from internet sources.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

I bought a high flow street cat from them last summer. Delivery was fast and technical support was excellent. Each time they answered my questions fast and accuratly.

They even called me back 2 weeks later to see how things were going. When was the last time a store called you back? I never get a call back from Jeg's.

I just checked their website, seems like they are still in business???

**** i also got fucked by them like 3+ years ago. figured they would be out of business by now. I ordered a cat back from them when i had a crx. they sent me a half back that wasn't even close to fitting. i spend like 80 bucks having the thing choped up to fit. Would never do and haven't done business since then.

Sounds like you were lucky, as most of us have had miserable experiences with these crooks. As for the last time I called them, I tred just the other day. Both their toll-free number and actual phone number are disconnected.

I have been dealing with them since January 2003. I ordered a AEM EMS $1,363 for a RSX and they told me they had them in sock and would ship it in a couple of days. After a month the told me it hadn't been released and they didn't know when it would be. I asked for my money back and they claimed that it was a special order and could only give me store credit. So after cussing them out and contacting the Better Business Bureau, I ordered new parts with my credit. 2 sets of eg slotted rotors and hawk pads, cold air landspeed intake for an eg, Hondata Intake Manifold gasket, STR K-series fuel and 70mm thottle body, and Denso Iradium plugs for a Spec-V sentra. To date all I have recieved is the intake and the spark plugs. Those ******* are jerkin me around to. I'm tempted to take flight out to Arizona and Kick somebody ***!

Landspeed is closed. I had to check into it for my work. FYI. the owner of Landspeed is the brother of the owner of Manaray!
