I got this for $12.. i never used this thing before. anyone have tips for me, how to use it? i heard that it can damage paint

....nah not in the trash..i will use it for polish parts than..if its bad for car

If anything, it'll be more gentle on your car than a "plug-in" electric buffer. Besides, all that matters is the pad, the wax, and the pressure you use against your paint.

What i would do is let the buffer press on the car without any pressure first, then slowly apply pressure until you get the desired shine you want. Then apply about that same amount of pressure to the rest of the car.

Radio Shocks..reg price was like over $50 something..and guy told me he got that for $10..so i tell him to get mine..*Radio Shock had computer problem so price was all fuked..lol * after boss find out, he got hella pissed..hehe

i think i saw it at Shuck's for around the same price too. I'm saving up for a Porter buffer as we speak.

i have one that's plug in, and u dont apply pressure at all, you just let the weight of the buffer do everything...works wonders

just apply wax, let it glaze up....then lay buffer it on the car and just guide it.

i see..mine is not that heavy though...so just use light pressure that enough to buff out wax?

Hmm...I used something like that before and it didn't work at all. There must be a pretty wide range in quality or something.

it can burn through clear coat. with a weak one like that you might as well use your arms.
