Default Just another 1 of those HID retro fitting threads...:) - EK headlights...BLING y0!

*EDIT* Pictures are located on page 1 (56K, YOUR IN A **** LOAD OF HURT)

TONS OF PICTURES OF THE BEAM OUTPUT ON PAGE 2. I MEAN TONS!!!!!!!

Took me a lo0o0o0ong time! Not because its hard to do, but i'm 1 lazy *** ****! I wanted to get some pictures of the beam output, but was lazy. It is very bright on the ground, to me they are. There are no major crooked cut off lines and no glare! YAY!!! Overall I am happy with them.

Projectors: 04 Maxima - Bi-Xenon
HID: 04 Maxima Ballast and Bulbs
Headlights: 99-00 Civic (EK)
Shoruds (SP?): Benz, which model not sure...but they are from a Bi-Xenon headlight

I have some 6000k HID bulbs, but not sure if I want to use them. I'm trying to get a color pattern like the Maximas! Nice purple...yum....purple...

very nice!
You know you can do a "spacer mod" to your cut-off to acheive a more purple/blue color on the cut-off? I'll be doing that to my s2k projectors soon.
now show it off on hidplanet.com

Yeah, I'm not sure how to do it on the Maxima projectors b/c they are bi-xenon. I havent really researched it at all.

As for how tos... sorry i didnt get any photos. i would say this is my 3rd or even more retro, so by this time i got bored of taking photos.

You lazy bastard, take some beam pattern pictures! Also, if you want the color of an 04 Maxima, you have to use the same bulbs they use, which is NOT 6000k.

Yes, i know in order for me to get the same color i would have to use the same bulb, which i am. i only stated that i have 6000k bulbs, but im trying to decide if i want to install them or not.
