b18c bottom end in a b16a2

Default b18c bottom end in a b16a2

a while back i posted about this topic and people told me that it would stick out at TDC well some one did it in superstreet mag but thay had after market pistions. well my Question is what kind of pistion is it that you need to get to make this work?
ps im talking about the conecting rods and the crankshaft from the b18c in the b16a2 block.

um as far as i know a stock bottom end B18c1 should have no issues with bolting on a B16 head wheather its from a 1st gen or 2nd gen b16.... i have never had a problem with it.. compression will come out lower though with a B16 head and stock P72 pistons.. P72 heads yield higher compression on b18c bottom end since the combustion chambers are welded in tighter.

I think he meant to put the GSR rotating assembly in the PR3 block.

oh my mistake.. if thats the case then you are probably going to have issues with the rods being too tall for the b16 block.. as far as i know only the b16b block is the same deckheight as the b18c block.. am i wrong?
