DX tps on a b16b
i borke the stock one but my friend said that the dx one will work the only thing i have to change is the wiring like reverse the wires because the dx one read backwards. true or not true???
no it will not work if you are talking about a 88-91 civic dx. The tps on the dual point motor turn in the opposite direction, which is why you have the flip the wires when you convert to mpfi.
well if i flip the wires it should work because of the fact it reading backwards but if i were to get a new one out of an integra what are the years i should look for???
ok it will not work. There is a mechanical piece inside the tps that turns. on the dual point it turns in a different direction than on the multi port. They can only turn in that one direction. Since it does turn the opposite direction, that is why when you convert to multi port you have to flip the wires. But if you still want to try it, go for it, than get pissed off when it doesn't work.
