Default f/hybrid

so has any one done this setup..

f23 crank
f20c pistons
h23 block
h22 head?


is it possible what kind of machine work would need to be done... give me the good stuff

Did not think that S2k pistons were the right bore to work on a H23 block....

they are both 87 mm right?

H series yes. F series... I thought it was 85.

huh ... maybe it it is .... i dunno mcuh about those f20z but i swore they were 87 mm

i don t understand why everyone insists on using the f23 crank. ever seen the rods and rod journals? the f20c pistons will have a lower compression height and more than likely a differently a different pin size. pistons will sit to far in the hole and will cause a loss of compression obviously. in my opinion not really a good option for a build

f20c crank will destroke your h23 block.... might as well just pick up an f20b motor, bore it and end up with better numbers and reliability...

Yes, not to mention the F20C uses a timing chain as opposed to a belt. With some machine work it could be done, but personally I'd rather use a K24 crank if I was going to go through all of that drama.
