05 RSX-S, need opinions
this is not a racing or battle thread...all i need are opinions
05 RSX-S got in my garage for 3days and my friend's civic coupe semi stripped down GSR (dynoed at 175whp/129tq) want a taste of my 05 rsx.
1. anyway...how long should i take to breaking-in my rsx-s? 800miles?, rpm under 4k? oil change after 1st broke in?
2. secondly, I doubted that i can hang on to my friend's civic gsr. if he dynoed 175, then he prolly got about 200-210 at crank. I dont want to get embarrass by his civic.

Then chill for a bit and learn your car. The more broken in she is the faster she will get.

stripped means about 100lbs max removed.
hatches are about 2200lbs stock - 100lbs + 100lbs (extra weight put on by gsr engine + tranny)
So really its not super light, about 650-700lbs lighter than a 05.
Power to Weight Ratio
gsr hatch = 12.6lbs for every 1 hp
05 stock = 13.3lbs for every 1 hp
From a dig, the 05 should take the gsr hatch. I want to go with the 05 from a roll as well but those hatches are pretty quick.
Break that bitch in and race him!
