Default GReddy Evo2 Catback......

does anyone have a Greddy Evo2 catback exhaust. i have heard its good in performance. but because its a straight pipe exhaust i want to know will it scrape or hit going up speed bumps, downhill, uphill, etc. and how bad. also if my car is lowered will it be really hard on the exhaust piping if/when i hit a bump or something.

i have a 2000 teg gsr.

any feed back would be goooooooooooooood

I have a Greddy Evo. It is not the second generation. From my understanding, the 2 is made 100% of stainless steel. Mine is only stainless steel on the can/tip. The 2 is also supposed to flow a little better. I gained good power and throttle response from the exhaust, but I scrape over almost every speed bump. I dont think that the 2 mounts or hangs differently. I hit going into and out of parking lots with tall crowns on the driveway. The biggest problem that I have with EVO1 is that about 2 months ago, the inside of the can collapsed from being rusted out. I live in CA, so rust problems should not be an issue. Call greddy and ask them if they changed the inside of the can to stainless steel for the EVO2. If not, I would not buy it. If so, it sounds great, looks great, and the performance is there!!

Sorry for the delay. My car has Tein SS coilovers. It presently sits with a 1.5" drop in the front and 1.25" drop in the rear.

My bro has it on his civic and does not have a whole lot of scraping issues with it. His car is lowered on Skunk2 spring which i think is a 2" drop.
All around good exhaust in my opinion even though I dont think a lot of people like how it sounds on here.

there's a white gsr around where i live with a greddy evo exhaust. IMO it's really really loud and not a good sounding exhaust. If sound isn't important to you, i hear that it makes some pretty good numbers.

I have the EVO II exhaust on my 93 prelude riding stock height and have yet to bottom out the exhaust. I will tell you that you can't get a prelude on flatbed with this exhaust though. You don't have to worry about that though.
