I bought an 88 hf and I got a code 8 on the way home. So I ordered a new distributor put it in and the car still won't start and I am still getting a code 8 from a new distributor. Anyone else ever had this problem. Need help ASAP thanks

check your cam alignment, might have jumped a tooth or two.

 

the cam in perfect but, still won't start. Any other opions
