Camber kit or NO?
i have a 94 accord and i just lowered it 2.25 inches in the front and 2.5 in the back. now my friend has a 92 civic hatch and has a 2 inch drop all around and said he just did a camber trick in the back and nothing to correct camber in front?? now i am planin on doing the camber trick in back but should anything be needed in the front?? now i am going to school for auto tech and this semester is all about alignments i just havent been able to get my car on the alignment rack yet. i know that will tell me but i need to go home this week or next week def. for spring break. so let me know if u have lowered ur car or have any ideas. thanks Ryan
Its not that u really need them you know. I don't have them, but i just pay ALOT of new jersey auto INSURANCE!!!.........definately will provide a better tread contact with the ground and save your tires. This is also the correct way in order to get your car aligned properly.......... Do the washer with longer bolts in the back and get front kit and you should be on safe grounds.......... They usually say up to 1.5 inches can save u from having to install a camber kit. Anything more you will have to use a camber kit to adjust it being that your accord has no camber adjustment.
I only have the Eibach Pro Kit and that's 1.5" drop and I will be sure to say; Get the camber kit for the front for sure. The longer bolt and washer would probably be fine in most applications, but as for the front, I've already shredded 2 Yokohama's.
