Default Maintenance parts for 1st Gen B16A

I've got a 1st Gen B16 in my Civic... Experiencing some hesitation at constant cruising rpm...

I'm going to do plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor this evening... But i've only managed to find the plug information:

BKR6E-N11 NGK Standard

As far as the rest... Do I spec for a DelSol VTec?

Thanks in advance

for my tune up or rebuild of my old b16a set up

I used 90-93 integra parts with some Vtec parts needed from the 92-93 Gsr

it is cheaper as the older the car less out of ur pocket

check it and u will see

you can use a 88-91 civic/crx dizzy cap and rotor..

Source parts from the 99-00 civic si,del sol dohc vtec,90-93 integra..There was a writeup on here a while back that had a parts list for the j-spec b16a

yep, just get stuff for 94-95 del sol vtec or 99-00 civic si...92-93 gsr also works for most basic maintenence related stuff (caps/plugs/wires)...but the b16 stuff would be better

Sounds like TPS. Try swapping a buddies TPS, or look for one at a junk yard.

to solve your hesitation problems, try switching the O2 sensors around.

If the motor before the b16 wasnt multi point, you may have to rewire the TPS, by swapping the voltage wires...

If this was the problem, then the ecu would think that the throttle is wide open all the time, not cause hessitation. Obviously, imo it looks like a maintanance problem

The sensors should be wired as shown..

Swapping the positions of the two O2 sensors in the exhaust manifold
will allow the round one to be plugged into the stock location..

If you just plugged it in and then added
another wire it is probably backwards..

Same ones on the D16A6. I got NTK's (NGK brand) new at a local parts house for like 16$ or so each.
