Default b16 turbo- air conditioning

i was wondering why some turbo kits dont allow your air conditioning to be kept .i was going to buy a turbo kit, but it says if i want my AC kept, id need to make modifications, the slim fan and compressor. why? cant it just be bypassed or something? i live where the weather is humid and real f*&^$#%^ hot in the summer, and i need AC.

http://www.full-race.com makes a line of B-Series w/ AC kits as well as a line for no AC, the with-AC are understandably a little more. I've heard good things about them as well; although, I have not done any business with them yet.

edit: fixed the syntax

Probably because of the way their manifolds and charge piping is routed. So something has to give.......either the manifold/charge piping has to be modified, or the AC components need to be modified.

Its a matter of choice.......do you want to A) have turbo B) have a/c or C) modify things to have both?
