Default washers for wheel spacing??

i have some big *** brakes on my crx and now my wheels fit over them but BARLEY any clearance. i seen 2 good size washers about 2 inches round and like 1/8 in thick. i was wondering, could i get 4 of these and use them as spacers for a tiny but more clearance? instead of spending a bunch of money on a spacer? i heard from someone it would cause u wheels to wobble like a bad wheel bearing but im sitting here like how? i think 2inch round washers and about 1/8 would be fine..anyone know??

Are you actually talking about using washers as spacers??...No,No,No.

Wheel Spacers in general are a very Bad Idea.....Never use them.

Get larger wheels and the correct offset. Going cheaper is never a good idea. Safety should be your first thing.

Spacers cause problems with your studs and geometry of your suspension and more. They should not be used.

well its kinda late for the right offset wheel. its suppose to work right but it didnt. and i dont think a 1mm spacer will have much of an effect on the geometry of suspension. it can be a half a mm! im talking like as thin as sheet metal..

Thats a big generalisation..

Some cars come with the on as standard, so they cant be unsafe.

If its one a mm or so, then the hubcentric ring will still fit over the hub, if not then no worries anyway, its the fact that the face is clamped to the hub/spacer that stops the wheels from moving, not the bolts themselves, if that makes sense...

yea thats what i was thinking. like ok well really the wheel is pressed up against the top hat brake rotor which is flat and acts just like a wheel spacer. think of old drum brakes, ut wheels bolts straight onto the hub, no rotor between. spacers are fine. and u can go up to 5mm on stock lugs but that is pushing it. i cant go that far anyway cause my wheels wouldnt be in the wheel well anymore. im gonna get some made! i wont do the washers tho because they arent precision cut. if u look at them they are kinda thinner then others and crap even though they all say a certain size.
